- Bad interpreter / 'command not found' when a script has CRLF line endings
- sed: unterminated 's' command when the substitution is missing its closing delimiter
- tar xzf fails with 'gzip: stdin: not in gzip format' on a plain tar archive
- Unquoted heredoc delimiter expands $VARIABLE and backslashes; quote the delimiter for literal text
